QA Engineer – Berlin 

A new opportunity has arisen for a QA Engineer to join this cutting-edge start-up, based in berlin (Germany). We are looking for a talented QA Engineer to join a growing and ambitious team, utilising a range of technical skills (JavaScript, Java, Selenium) to contribute to the further growth and success of the business. In a newly created position, the QA Engineer will be responsible for developing the test strategy, shaping processes and recommending/using the best tools for effective test management.

Key skills for the QA Engineer (Selenium, JavaScript, Java):

  • Experience designing and implementing complex integration tests
  • Strong QA experience covering the full testing life cycle
  • Experience with Java and/or JavaScript is essential (JavaScript preferred out of the two)
  • Experience working with automated test related frameworks (Selenium, Karma, etc.)
  • Strong experience in testing applications on every level of the testing pyramid
  • Experience in working on a cloud-based application would be advantageous
  • Ability to work as part of a Development team within a close-knit, Agile, start-up environment
  • Fluent in English is essential (spoken & written), and any German language skills are a plus!
